What cookies are and what they do

Cookies are small files that your browser stores when you visit a website. They can maintain a session, remember preferences or enable measurement. Other external resources may transmit technical information without using cookies.

How this website works

VISORY IA uses WordPress and a user login area. Technical authentication and security cookies allow users to sign in and maintain their session. They do not require consent when they are strictly necessary for the service requested.

Cookie or category Purpose Duration
wordpress_logged_in_* and wordpress_sec_* Identify an authenticated user’s session and protect access. They are not required to visit the home page without signing in. Session or the duration selected when choosing to stay signed in
wordpress_test_cookie Check whether cookies are supported when accessing the login screen. Session
wp-settings-* and wp-settings-time-* WordPress user interface preferences. Up to one year
Language preferences The multilingual system may remember the selected language when this feature is used. Depending on the preference and service configuration
Consent preferences (cmplz_*) Remember cookie choices, banner dismissal and the policy version. These are technical cookies used by the Complianz consent manager. Up to one year

Names with an asterisk include a variable identifier. Duration may vary depending on the configuration and the option to stay signed in. These categories describe the platform’s technical functions; they do not mean that every cookie is present on every visit.

Third-party resources

The home page loads Chart.js from jsDelivr to display charts. The request to the CDN transmits technical data, including the IP address, even though it is not an advertising cookie. This is also explained in the privacy policy.

The review of the public pages did not identify an advertising or commercial analytics integration. If non-essential cookies are introduced, their providers, purposes and duration must be disclosed and the appropriate prior consent obtained. Rejecting them must allow continued use of the website’s basic functions.

How to manage cookies

You can accept, reject or choose your preferences in the privacy banner. You can also reopen it to change your choice. Optional cookies are not activated before you give consent.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser’s privacy settings. Blocking technical cookies may prevent account access or cause preferences to be lost. Deleting a cookie does not cancel a subscription or erase data retained by the service.

Consult your browser’s help pages to clear browsing data, block third-party cookies or manage exceptions for individual websites. For questions about information processing, use the privacy contact listed above.

Updates

This policy will be reviewed when the website’s features or providers change. The update date appears at the top.
